Yoga
I teach a combination of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, having trained in both. From Iyengar yoga, I teach precision and accuracy of the asanas using tools such as bricks, blocks and belts. From Ashtanga, I take the feeling of flow and continuity as well as the in-depth breathing exercises. Classes consist of asana (posture) work, breathing exercises and relaxation, with the practice varying each week. Classes are mixed ability, catering for the needs of a beginner up to an intermediate level.
Yoga Classes
Ardross Hall, Wednesday evenings, 7.30 – 9.00 pm. The costs are £10 (£8 concessions).
Dingwall Community Centre, Friday mornings, 9.15 – 10.45 am. Costs are £10 (£8 concessions)
TRACC in Tain on Tuesday mornings from 10.00 – 11.15 am; this is a Highlife class.
